Put your own domain on your site when you're ready, and read visitor figures kept without cookies, IP addresses or a cookie banner.

Your website should carry your own name, and you should know how it's doing. Two plain jobs that usually arrive wrapped in nonsense — domains in jargon, visitor numbers in cookie banners. Neither should demand you learn things you'll use exactly once, so here they're both kept simple.

Your site works from the day it exists, on an address we provide. When you're ready — straight away, or after you've lived with it a while — you put your own domain on it. Nothing else about the site changes when the domain goes on: same pages, same reviews, same journal. Only the name over the door.

Moving your domain over

The domain stays wherever you bought it; there's no transferring it to us. We give you the DNS records — the exact lines to add — and you paste them in at your registrar, or hand them to whoever looks after that side of things for you. Registrars dress their screens differently, but the job underneath is the same everywhere, and if you've never opened those settings before, that's fine: the records come with what-goes-where spelled out. That's the whole of your part.

The certificate is automatic. The padlock appears on its own, with nothing to buy, nothing to install and nothing that quietly expires one Friday and takes the site down with it.

Visitor figures without the banner

The visitor figures are ours, built in: how many people came, and what they looked at. The counting uses no cookies and we keep no IP addresses — which is why your site doesn't need a cookie banner. Visitors get your website, not a consent quiz standing in front of it. The banner doesn't have to be designed, worded or clicked through, because it never existed.

Worth being straight about the trade. Figures like these tell you how the site is doing: which pages pull their weight, whether anyone reads the journal, what a busy week actually looks like. They don't tell you who anyone is, and they don't follow people around the rest of the internet. For a local business, we think that's the right trade — honest counts, nothing creepy. The sort of number you check on a Sunday evening out of curiosity, not a report you need training to read.

Search Console, if you want it

Visitor figures describe what happened on your site. Google Search Console describes what happened just before it: the searches your site appeared in, and how often somebody clicked through. It's Google's own data about your place in Google — worth having, and just fiddly enough to set up that most people never get round to it. We can set it up for you, and once it's connected it gathers quietly on its own.

Between the two, you get an honest picture from both ends: how people found you, and what they did once they arrived.

Features

  • Your review link and your QR codes

One page with your Google button, logo and recent reviews, on a short link we host. Make a code per place: the counter, your invoices, one per van, and track each separately. A scan counts a tap on a review button: intent, not proof a review was left.

  • One inbox for four review sites

Google, Trustpilot, TripAdvisor and Facebook in one place. Google arrives every hour through an official connection to your Business Profile; the other three update daily. Filter by platform, stars or what still needs answering, and see the photos customers attached. Video testimonials and private feedback land there too.

  • Reviews on the website you already have

Nine ways to show them: wall, carousel, spotlight, badge, floating bubble and more. One line of code, any website. Set a minimum rating, filter by keyword, or hand-pick them. Star-rating markup comes with it, so search engines read your rating. Any review you'd rather not show stays out.

  • Stamping cards at the till

A PIN-protected link for the counter: your Saturday team can stamp cards without touching your account. Any phone or tablet does it: no new hardware. Points are typed in or worked out from the spend. A mis-tap can be undone for fifteen minutes, and every stamp is logged.

  • Your own domain, and honest visitor figures

Put your domain on the site when you're ready: we give you the DNS records, the certificate is automatic. Visitor figures are ours: how many came and what they looked at. No cookies, no IP addresses kept, no cookie banner. We can set up Google Search Console too.

  • A journal written from your own reviews

Articles are planned around your Google categories, your town and the places you cover, then written from your reviews, quoted as the customer wrote them. Every three days, weekly or fortnightly, whichever you pick. Posts land as drafts. If your blog is on WordPress, they publish there instead.
